An integrated seven-storey light art installation forming the central atrium of the 3XN-designed Deloitte headquarters, Copenhagen. The work was the result of a competition won by Steven Scott in 2002. Seventy-seven light modules incorporated into the stairs and walkways transform the space into an architectural light sculpture. The choreography of slowly shifting colour is planned so that no individual will see the same constellation of light twice within their lifetime. The gently varying atmosphere provides a conceptual link to nature and daylight. The result is an arresting artwork that creates a deep impression on visitors and remains an inspirational workspace for Deloitte staff.
